There were days we wondered, "Will we ever finish these two projects and have them available to share with other Deaf ... and hearing?"
As with any major projects - and we were doing TWO at the same time!! - Everything took twice as long as planned. Not only were there delays, but, yes, there were problems and issues that arose and needed to be addressed before completing the projects.

TO HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD (Deaf title: Connect God How?) is intended to give a clear "overview" of the Bible from creation to the
establishment of the church -- a great tool for Deaf adults or young people
to understand how to have a relationship with God.
The GODMAN (Deaf version) is also a chronological overview, but the actors and narrators are all Deaf children. Deaf kids, teens and adults will enjoy watching and discussing this program. This was produced in partnership with Book of Hope.
DOOR would like to suggest several ways you can use these DVDs:
If you are part of a Deaf group, after watching either DVD in its entirety, we suggest you watch the DVD again, and then discuss, dialogue and process each section of the DVD.
If you are a Christian and want to lead your Deaf friends to Christ, we suggest you invite them to watch the DVD with you, and then lead them in discussion.
If you know hearing parents, grandparents, siblings, etc. of Deaf, offer to give them a copy they can watch with their Deaf family members. (Note: both DVDs have English subtitles.).
Offer or give free copies to any Deaf person, group or school in your area.
Make them available in your church library and with your "newcomers" team so any Deaf visitor can easily receive a copy.
Write your denominational headquarters and ask them to maintain multiple copies to distribute to any members beginning or engaged in Deaf ministries.
