An International Leadership Team (ILT) is developing Deaf Christian teaching and leadership tools.
DOOR International's ILT is made up of Deaf and hearing people from several different continents. This team is learning about a number of Christian leadership concepts, and adapting them into Deaf-friendly formats. This includes sensing calling, capturing and communicating vision, setting both long-term and short-term goals, making a practical plan, creating a budget, evaluating outcomes, dealing with interpersonal conflicts, building healthy and effective teams, and much more.
The Deaf leaders in the group are teaching other Deaf people what they are learning, and beginning to create a curriculum to effectively empower gifted Deaf believers to serve their communities as visionary leaders.
