Mike holds a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Rehabilitation from the University of Arizona and a Certificate in Not-for-Profit Administration from the University of San Francisco College of Business.

He is a Vietnam veteran having served with the Navy/Marine Corps as a Field Hospital Corpsman. Mike has owned and managed several small businesses and was President of Goodwill Industries of Tucson, Arizona for 12 years.

After years of being interested in missions and being very involved in the local church, Mike and Linda felt a calling to go into missions themselves. In October of 1992 they joined United World Mission. Mike served as Overseas Ministry Director and Executive Vice President, supervising hearing missionaries and staff in 25 countries. Linda worked as his Administrative Assistant. They were also instrumental in helping set up The Alliance for Saturation Church Planting.

When DOOR joined United World Mission (UWM) in 1995 Mike was put in charge of the merger. In July of 1999, DOOR. International was established as a 501(c)3 Christian, non-profit organization and Mike was asked to be the President.  He holds overall responsibilities for all ministries, operations, services, and resource development for DOOR International.

Linda has completed the educational requirements for elementary teaching and a minor in music. Previously, Linda has served as Administrative Assistant to numerous non-profit and for-profit organizations.  She has also owned and managed several small businesses. She provides computer, finance and communication training, oversight, and support to Deaf and hearing DOOR staff around the world.

Linda and Mike have three sons, three daughters-in-law and three granddaughters.
