God
- God is a Spirit. God made all things, spiritual and physical.
- God is a Trinity - 3 persons in One (Father, Son and Holy
Spirit).
- God is the supreme authority over everything.
- God is everlasting, never changing, everywhere, knows
everything, all-powerful, holy, righteous and love.
Scripture
- The Bible (Old & New Testament) is from God. It is the
truth and has no mistakes in the original scrolls.
- The Holy Spirit led men to write Scriptures, telling exactly
what God said.
- The Bible helps us live and teaches us everything. It is the
final authority for believers.
Jesus Christ
- The virgin Mary became pregnant by the Holy Spirit and gave
birth to Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man.
- Old Testament prophesies came true; Jesus came to show God to
people and give salvation to the lost.
- Jesus had no sin and lived a perfect life.
- Jesus gave up His life and died on the cross for our sins.
Jesus took all of our sins on the cross.
- Jesus died and rose again. He went to Heaven to be with the
Father, and now prays for the believers.
Holy Spirit
- The Holy Spirit is fully God.
- The Holy Spirit shows people that they have sin.
- The Holy Spirit helps people to be saved. The Holy Spirit in
people means they are God's children.
- The Holy Spirit helps believers to pray.
- The Holy Spirit helps us to grow spiritually.
- The Holy Spirit gives people spiritual gifts for them to
serve God and to serve in the church.
- God wants all Christians to obey, follow the Holy Spirit,
share about Jesus and do good works.
Angels
- God created angels. Angels are heavenly persons who worship
God, serve God and guard people.
- The highest angel sinned with pride. He is Satan.
- Satan is an enemy of God and God’s people. He fights
against us and God.
- Many angels worship Satan and serve Satan in the world.
Man
- God made people in the image of God.
- God’s perfect fellowship with people was broken because
of sin. Now people experience physical and spiritual death.
- Adam and Eve committed the first sin, and it affected all
people. We are born with sin and we continue to sin.
Salvation
- All people have sinned. Every person needs salvation from
God's judgment.
- Jesus’ blood on the cross fully paid for our sins.
Through His blood is the ONLY way we can be saved.
- Salvation is a free gift through God’s grace. You cannot
work for it.
- If you believe Jesus died on the cross to pay for your sin
and you accept Jesus as Savior - you will live forever in heaven.
- God wants His children to be like Jesus. We grow by obeying
God’s Word and following the Holy Spirit.
- We cannot be perfect on earth. When we are resurrected, God
will complete His work in us. We will be perfect.
- In the future, every believer will be judged for their life
on earth. They will receive rewards for obedience and good works.
Church
- All believers are part of Jesus’ body of believers
called the Church.
- The Church’s number one goal is to spread God’s
Word.
- The local Church helps believers to grow strong spiritually
and develop their spiritual gifts.
- Every believer shares the responsibility of serving in the
Church.
- God commands us to do Baptism and the Lord's Supper in the
Church.
- The church is responsible to teach, train believers, and help
them fully understand how to go plant new churches.
Future
- Jesus Christ will come back to judge people who already died
and those who are still alive.
- All believers who have already died, and those who are still
alive, will go up and meet with Jesus forever. They will live with Him forever
in the New Heaven and New Earth.
- All unbelievers and bad angels will be judged and thrown in
hell forever.
